Our Mission

The Mission of the Delta Conservation District is to provide for the conservation and preservation of our natural resources and agricultural heritage in order to ensure the health, prosperity and welfare of the citizens of the District and State of Colorado.

Education Coordinator (Part-Time)

Position Highlights

  • 16 hours per week | $20–$24/hour d.o.e.

  • Start Date: April 1, 2026

  • Hybrid work location (remote + Delta NRCS Office)

What You’ll Do

  • Support grant-funded conservation programs

  • Coordinate community education events and outreach

  • Assist with the Colorado Master Irrigator Program

Ideal Candidate

  • Passion for agriculture, conservation, or natural resources

  • Strong organization and communication skills

  • Experience with grants, events, or outreach is a plus.
